Land Rover Encino 'Product Placed' Rolls Royce and Range Rovers at the Jackson Funeral
Jackson was undoubtedly a musical genius, if somewhat flawed as a man. And financial controversy and freebies dogged him for a very long time, so in a way it’s apposite that this Rolls Royce / Range Rover dealer should jump in with product placement in such a crass way. It also adds to the tackiness of the funeral.

Kahn Design revealed their take on the Range Rover Evoque – the RS250 Vesuvius Copper – last month, but they’ve decided another take on the same theme is needed to showcase at Chris Evans’ petrolhead extravaganza – Carfest South. So this time we get an Evoque with a more appealing Dark Tungsten Metallic paint job with ‘KAHN’ lettering on the bonnet, new bumpers with mesh inserts, lower boot spoiler, chin spoiler, matt black highlights, gloss black boot trim, p[rivacy glass, big upper rear wing, diffuser and a nice set of 22" RS600 alloys.
The Suzuki Swift Plug-in Hybrid
Latest to announce their Eco offering is Suzuki, with the Swift Plug-in Hybrid. Principally designed to be an electric car, the Swift plug-in also has a small petrol engine which, when the charge in the lithium-ion batteries is depleted, kicks in to recharge the batteries, rather than drive the car. This is similar to the system implemented in the Opel Ampera and the Jaguar XJ Limo Green with the Lotus Range Extender setup.
